Solar Assets Data Analyst Intern
We are looking for a Solar Assets Data Analyst Intern to join our team! You will help improve the performance of our solar portfolio by building data tools that detect underperforming components. Through the internship, you will work with real operational data and contribute to solutions that directly increase energy production.
What you will work on
Build and develop a PV string performance analysis tool, covering the full data pipeline — from raw SCADA data through structured data layers to actionable insights.
Clean and structure data by combining telemetry with solar park wiring plans to create reliable per-string time series pipeline.
Analyse performance across strings and inverters to identify underperformance, inconsistencies, and data-quality issues.
Develop metrics and simple diagnostics to detect issues such as mismatches, clipping behaviour and shading.
Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and actionable outputs that help Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams prioritise maintenance work to automate the process.
Collaborate with data engineering, asset management, and O&M teams to validate findings and improve real-world workflows.
What describes you
Have a quantitative and analytical mindset, with the ability to explore and interpret complex datasets.
Be comfortable with Python (e.g. pandas, numpy) and SQL, or be motivated to strengthen these skills quickly.
You deliver — a rough working version beats a perfect plan that never lands.
Be curious and proactive — you enjoy digging into data and finding answers independently.
Be eager to learn new tools and concepts, including data pipelines and renewable energy systems.
Have an interest in renewable energy and a motivation to contribute to the energy transition.
Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and take ownership of your work.
What we offer
While we support a hybrid work model, we expect this role to be on-site at our Tallinn HQ for the majority of the time. The internship is expected to last between 2–3 months and is a paid internship, with compensation of €946 gross per month for full-time.
Work on a real, production-level analytics tool used by engineering and operations teams.
Gain hands-on experience with modern data tools and real-world solar asset management.
Collaborate across teams and see how data, engineering, and operations come together in a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Engage in interesting challenges and continuous learning opportunities due to our fast growth.
We would love to hear from you if you are excited about contributing to a sustainable future! The application deadline is 22nd May 2026.
